2010 Armenian Food Festival

We finally made it to the Armenian Food Festival on Brotherhood Way by our house this year. We pass by it every year, but never made it. I think all of the Armenians in SF showed up, we were the few Asians around, and truly felt like a minority in the Sunset!!

The food was really overpriced, but since we've never tried it before it was justifiable... My plate here was a whopping $31. My favorite were the beans in the bowl and the Souvlaki. Tim loved the puff pastry filled with mild cheese, and Lola's favorites were all the honey sweet goodness.

Ella liked the cookie a lot, which surprisingly not too sweet.

But of course, she liked the dancing even more!

Party Ella

We attended our last wedding of this year at the Ritz Carlton in Half Moon Bay yesterday. It was our first time there and the weather couldn't be more gorgeous! The location was just breathtaking and we got to enjoy the sunset while sipping Champagne and Sangria!

Becky and Carl made sure every detail was taken care of personally. We loved all the thoughtful individual favors and the guest book.

While Ella got packs of cookies, Mommy and Daddy received these beautifully made soapstone hearts.Ella had a blast dancing and absolutely loved all of the delicious goodies.

Thanks for inviting us Becky and Carl! I guess Ella's not ready to be a bride yet.

Daddy Playtime

Ella has definitely identified Daddy as her playmate and Mommy as the go to for everything else, or maybe it's because Daddy's KRA-ZZZ.

I found these from a toiletry bag. They are "evil eye" pendants we got on Mykonos from our honeymoon 4 years ago.

She also like to bully Daddy too. Like mother like daughter I guess...

Estate Sale Finds

We went on a little impromptu treasure hunt at a couple of estate sales yesterday. We were actually looking for silverware, but found a few other surprises.

Love this set of wine glasses from 2 sons cleaning out their mother's house. They asked that we drink our first toast to Dorothy, because she loved her Champagne and wine. So, here's to Dorothy! Thanks for keeping your glasses in pristine condition all the way from the 1940s.

This other house was also being cleaned out by a couple of old ladies, not sure if the owner was their mother or just relative. They had really nice antique furniture, but we have no where to put them... So, we opted for smaller items.
